Those Who Knew Him, His Secretaries, Have Written That He Was Deeply Hurt By What Was Said About Him And Drawn About Him, But On The Other Hand, Lincoln Had The Great Strength Of Character Never To Display It, Always Able To Stand Tall And Strong And Firm No Matter How Harsh Or Unfair The Criticism Might Be. These Elements Of Greatness, Of Course, Inspire Us All Today.

To The Ordinary Guy, All This Is A Bunch Of Gobbledygook. But Out Of The Gobbledygook Comes A Very Clear Thing: You Can't Trust The Government, You Can't Believe What They Say, And You Can't Rely On Their Judgment.

For Years Politicians Have Promised The Moon. I'm The First One To Be Able To Deliver It.

With All The Power That A President Has, The Most Important Thing To Bear In Mind Is This: You Must Not Give Power To A Man Unless, Above Everything Else, He Has Character. Character Is The Most Important Qualification The President Of The United States Can Have.

I Think Congress Has Spent Enough Time On Ethics. I Think It's Time They Moved On To Something Else.
